We finally had a warm day last week after so many months of winter and snow, so Nicole, Cujo, Dave and I decided to be outside and enjoy the weather ...
I think spring is around the corner and I can't wait to spend some time outside with my family....

Re-potting my Plants

There is not much going on here this past few days. The weather is getting warm and I can finally start thinking about doing yard work.
Today I did some re potting on a couple of my plants... I have a few more to do but tomorrow I'm going back to Home Depot to buy more dirt and pots...

I think I have good hands with plants, I remember when we moved to this house 5 years ago I started with one plant and from that one I replant more and more and now I have almost a dozen pots...

Dave's 4.1

 Dave's birthday was February, 2nd. and for his birthday present he went to a pawn shop and found a guitar for $50. It was actually a Fender. He said that he was going to DIY the guitar. I thought it was a cool idea. He is thinking about doing the same thing with other guitars and maybe sell them. I told him I would support him with whatever he decides.

End of January we went to a bar called 37 Main http://www.37main.com, a Rock Cafe to celebrate my Brother and sister in law's birthday and of course, to see the Led Zeppelin Cover Band. I LOVE Led Zeppelin....

My pregnancy's pictures

I did the same thing when I was pregnant with Nicole, I would take a picture of my belly every week to see the difference in each month and  now I can just go back and look at the pictures and remember the moments I had at that time. I had a complicated pregnancy but sometimes I miss my belly, feeling Nicole moving, kicking, all the different weird feelings I had, miss being pregnant...

Nicole's monthly celebrations

I started to make or buy a cake to celebrate every month of Nicole's life when she was 1 month old. I take pictures of her and her cakes and in the future Nicole can see her changes when she was little.
We have 8 months, 8 pictures for now and more to come.

Weekend at Grandpa's

This past weekend we drove to south Georgia, to a town called Cuthbert, about 4 hours drive to visit Dave's dad and family. I have never met them until now (family reasons), but anyways. We actually got the news that Dave's grandma passed away, Dave got really upset with the news, then we decided to go to the funeral as well. I was really happy to meet everybody, even under the circumstances, and I was also glad Dave got to talk and see his dad after years as well. I really wanted Webb (Dave's dad) to meet his granddaughter too. I wish my dad was here too to meet Dave and Nicole but this is another story to another time.
For me, family is sooooooooooo important and life is too short, let's leave the differences aside and be happy.
